About Anushka Dasgupta
Hi, I'm Anushka. I design purposeful products with clarity and intent: medical devices, mobility, machine enclosures, furniture and form studies.
I co-founded kad3dstudio, where we design and 3D print, and I'm usually at this desk with a sketch, a print running and a coffee going cold.
Friends call her HaiHai.
Projects
- IV Drip Monitor: Medical device. A weight-based IV drip monitor that alerts nurses before a drip runs dry, designed by Anushka Dasgupta after research with nurses, doctors and patients.
- Passenger Boat: Mobility. A passenger boat for the flood plains of Assam and Bihar that stays stable when fully loaded. Field research, concepts and models by Anushka Dasgupta.
- FW Machine: Enclosure design. A new enclosure for ETA Technology's rotary friction welder, designed for operator ergonomics and low production cost, and shown at IMTEX 2024.
- BTBM-PRO: Enclosure design. BTBM-PRO, an enclosure for manufacturing machinery designed by Anushka Dasgupta. The full case study is coming soon.
